Each kind of tape is used in different industries and has its own characteristics and functions. The following introduces the application and explanation of ten kinds of tape in the coating industry.
1. Bopp tape

2, BOPP sealing adhesive tape
Description: BOPP tape is BOPP film as the base material, coated with water-based pressure sensitive adhesive, has the characteristics of low cost, wide application.
Features: Strong adhesive force, large tensile strength, good water and weather resistance, wide range of temperature.
Application: Can be used for all kinds of export box packaging, strong performance, has a certain protection.
3, cloth viscose tape
Note: Cloth based adhesive tape is made of mesh cloth after PE resin treatment, coated with oil-based pressure sensitive adhesive made of single side adhesive, has excellent initial adhesion, water and moisture resistance, suitable for weight of the adhesion, easy to tear.
Features: strong adhesive force, easy to tear, high fatigue resistance, moisture resistance, will not cause deformation in shear.
Usage: Suitable for the packaging of weight items, dustproof, moisture-proof, scratching and other protection can be used in the machine, carpet, telephone line protection, widely used in industry, can also be used for books, folders reinforcing, anti-slip, printing, screen printing, hardware and electrical appliances.
4, foam viscose tape
Description: Foam tape is made of EVA or PE foam as the base material, coated with solvent (or hot melt) pressure sensitive adhesive on one or both sides and then made of release paper. It has the function of sealing and damping.
Features: excellent sealing, compressive deformation resistance, flame retardant, wettability, etc.
Application: The products are widely used in electronic and electrical products, mechanical parts, all kinds of small household appliances, mobile phone accessories, industrial instruments, computers and peripheral equipment, auto parts, audio and video equipment, toys, cosmetics and so on.
5. Brown paper tape
Description: Kraft paper tape with kraft paper as the base material, coated with pressure sensitive adhesive, single-side adhesive, has high strength adhesion, good weather resistance, waterproof, frost proof, easy to tear, is an ideal green product.
Features: strong adhesive force, high tensile strength, can be torn by hand, no deformation, no pollution, can be recycled.
Application: paper, box sealing.
6. Making paper tape
Description: The United States paper adhesive tape is a high quality masking adhesive tape, with wrinkle paper as the base material, one side coated with rubber adhesive or hot solvent, with tight bonding, easy removal, solvent resistance, water resistance, widely used in surface spraying masking.
Features: Natural color, excellent consistency, strong adhesion, no residual glue paste when removed, recyclable, smooth cutting edge of the tape. When unwinding, the paper does not wrinkle or break.
Application: For laminating, sealing, color separation and pattern spraying, drying for spraying.
7, PVC protective film adhesive tape
PVC protective film is made of PVC film substrate single-side glue, acrylic glue or oleic acid glue adhesion performance is excellent, strong tensile resistance, good cold resistance, strong aging resistance, single-side paste, no residual glue, good shelter performance, wear resistance and solvent resistance.
Application: Suitable for all kinds of metal surface protection, such as: “aluminum alloy, stainless steel, glass sandblasting process”.
8, electrical adhesive tape
Description: Electrical adhesive tape is made of soft polyvinyl chloride film coated with single side rubber pressure-sensitive adhesive. It has good insulation performance, high voltage resistance, high temperature resistance and high ignition retardancy. It is widely used for insulating protection of electrical parts and wires and is widely used in electronics and electrical industry.

Application: Can be used to wrap wire, air conditioning pipe, widely used in electrical and electronic industry insulation protection.
9. Copper foil tape
Description: Aluminum foil tape is coated with acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive on the surface of aluminum foil, one side adhesive, made of silicone treated isolation paper, with good UV protection, protection from some chemicals, moisture, fire resistance, mainly used in refrigeration, electronics related industries.
Features: bright silver, UV resistance, fire resistance, can prevent more chemical corrosion, outdoor application, good weather resistance.
Uses: Can be used for heat and cold reflection insulation wrapping, can be used in pipes, engine support, can be wrapped wire to prevent heat, waterproof and dust, can also be used for outdoor work.
10. Double-sided PET tape
Features: Good adhesion performance for substrate, high surface energy plastic, metal sheet has high bonding strength, excellent temperature resistance, water resistance, chemical resistance.
Purpose: It is suitable for the isolation and bonding of the upper and lower lines of the film switch. The high-performance adhesive plays a very high stability and is suitable for the long-term use of keys.
