How should the carpet be fixed?

Generally, there are three ways to fix carpets

Sticking method, hook fixing, pressing strip fixing. Why not use all-purpose glue to paste it (pasting method)? One is because the universal glue is generally toxic, and the other is that it is very troublesome to clean up after pasting. Nowadays, beading is generally used to fix (put wooden beading around the carpet, and use special steel nails to nail the beading and carpet into the concrete floor).

Generally, there are two types of home improvement carpets: unfixed and fixed.

For occasions that do not need to be rolled up, but will not bulge under the push of external force, such as the front waist of the corridor, the fixed paving method can be used. The carpet trimmings are bonded and stitched into a whole piece, and the back of the carpet is fixed to the ground with adhesives or wooden clips (barbed boards) with small hooks facing the sky around the floor.

The steps of laying the carpet are: 1. Cleaning the ground, 2. Cutting the carpet, 3. Nailing and pressing strips, 4. Splicing treatment, 5. Laying process, and 6. Correction.
