VHB is a brand of 3m acrylic foam tape, which is made of pure acrylic resin and designed with 100% closed cell structure. The foam core of the PE foam tape is polyethylene foam, and both sides of the PE foam tape are coated with adhesive. Generally speaking, the performance of VHB tape is superior to that of PE foam tape in terms of strength, temperature resistance, outdoor aging resistance, chemical resistance, waterproof sealing and vibration fatigue resistance. Therefore, VHB tape is used in high strength, high load-bearing requirements or harsh application environments, while PE foam tape is more suitable for general bonding of low-cost operations such as signs, clamps and small ornaments.
